Mr. Nicoladis has more than 60 years of experience as a consulting engineer. Prior to establishing N-Y in 1969, he was employed by three consulting engineering firms and one construction company for a total of twelve years as a project engineer, project manager and vice-president involving a variety of civil engineering projects in various southern states.
Mr. Nicoladis has formulated construction programs for his clients and has assisted them in the passage of bond issues to finance their construction. He has prepared preliminary engineering reports, financial feasibility studies, appraisals and master plans. He has served as an expert witness and has worked with many infrastructure grant and loan programs. He has also prepared construction plans and specifications and administered the construction of these projects. Mr. Nicoladis has also provided design and construction overview of an array of architectural and urban planning projects for N-Y.
Mr. Nicoladis continues to play a role in the firm’s business development efforts as well as those related to the delivery of the firm’s services. He strives to see that the client’s schedule and budget are met. In summary, Mr. Nicoladis’s primary goal is to ensure that N-Y’s resources are efficiently utilized to provide clients with a level of service that exceeds their expectations.
Mr. Nicoladis is in the final phase of transitioning the leadership of N-Y to the second generation.
He is a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Sigma Chi Fraternity and has served on the Board of Directors of the Salvation Army of New Orleans.

- Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering, Mississippi State University
Military Service:
- At graduation, commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U. S. Army Reserve where he served as an artillery officer for eight years. He received an honorable discharge in 1965.
