Mr. Nicoladis has had a variety of design, construction administration, and management positions since joining the firm in 1984. He oversees the daily operations and administration of the firm. His marketing responsibilities include managing the preparation of responses to requests for qualifications and proposals as well as establishing teaming arrangements.

Senior Vice President / Civil Engineer

Constantine “Dean” Nicoladis has been employed full time by N-Y since 1987. He is responsible for the firm’s general civil and utility engineering practice. This includes among others, water, wastewater, storm drainage, and street projects.

James E. Simmons, PE
Vice President / Civil and Structural Engineer

Jim Simmons has over 45 years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience including 23 years with N-Y; with a particular emphasis on transportation and structural projects which include highways, bridges, railroads, and ports. His extensive experience also includes drainage systems such as canals and pumping stations, as well as, flood and surge control projects for the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.

Vice President / Director of Architecture

Mr. Buisson is responsible for the firm’s architectural practice. He has over 35 years of experience managing projects from initial schematics through Construction Documents, Bidding, Negotiating, and Construction Administration. He has been responsible for managing office staff and project design teams, as well as acting as a liaison among developers, corporate partners, contractors, consultants, regulatory officials and financing institutions.

Bruce Richards joined the firm in 1999, and has over 30 years of wide-ranging planning experience, including 19 with N-Y. This includes land use and master planning, urban and regional planning, neighborhood planning, transportation planning, and the preparation of environmental (NEPA) documents.

Kristin H. Pearce, CPA, MBA
Vice President / Corporate Controller

Ms. Pearce has 25 years of financial leadership experience and is responsible for all accounting, fiscal records, and financial management systems. Her duties include billing, collections, payables, preparation of project management reports and financial statements. Ms. Pearce also maintains personnel records, employee insurance plans and the firm’s insurance policies.
